Kaitlynn Robinson and Jennie Roland, both from Ozark, are the winners of the Back to School drawings sponsored by the Friends of the Christian County Library (FOL).

Kaitlynn Robinson, winner of the student basket, is being home-schooled by her mother, Jennie Robinson. Kaitlynn is nine years old and in fourth grade. She enjoys horseback riding, Girl Scouts, and art. Since she likes to help animals, her favorite books are non-fiction, particularly about animals. She enjoys coming to the library to check out her favorite books and to have access to the computer. Her mother agrees that the library is convenient and they use it frequently for home schooling.

Jennie Roland, winner of the adult basket, is the mother of three children, ages six years, four years, and ten months. When she has some leisure time, she enjoys reading, of course, gardening, and spending time with friends. She likes to read books about organizing, self help, parenting tips, and mysteries. Jennie appreciates the Christian County Library for offering books and activities at no cost for the children, so that they will learn to love reading as much as she and her husband

FOL is a nonprofit volunteer organization that supports the Christian County Library by funding the library’s summer reading program and other events. The Friends are offering gift baskets to promote use of the Christian County Library, located on 4th Street in Ozark. Each basket is a $50 value and includes new books, games and other seasonal items. The Autumn baskets will be on display at the library by Sept. 29th. For more information regarding how you can enter the drawings or join Friends of the Library, contact Christian County Library staff at 417-581-2432.
