Friends of the Library Valentine's Day Basket Winners

Katelynn Harrison, age 4 of Nixa, MO is the winner of the child’s Valentine basket sponsored by the Friends of the Library.  Katelynn, who is not quite reading on her own yet, loves the Lama Lama series among other books.  Her mother has been reading to her since she was a baby and Katelynn takes great interest in the time they spend together reading books.  Kaytelynn’s mother Jenny says her mother took her to libraries when she was a young girl and she is carrying on that tradition.  One of the thing Katelynn and her mother both love about the Christian County Library is the child programs.

An adult basket was also awarded to a Christian County Library patron as well.

The next general meeting of Friends of the Library is March 19th, at 10:00 at the library.  A yearly individual membership is $6.00 and a family membership is $10.00.  You can join before the meeting at the Christian County Library located at 1005 N. 4th Avenue in Ozark.
