Logan Fortner, 5 years old, was the winner of the Friends of
Christian County Library Child’s Valentine Basket. Logan
is the son of Brea and Rodney Fortner of Ozark.
His mother home schools Logan. In
school work, he enjoys learning to tell time.
He loves to play outside and come to the library to get books and Playaways. The Mandy Series and Dr
Seuss, especially the ABC book, are his favorites. Logan
also likes to visit with the friendly staff at the library.
Although Sabrina Nguyer of Ozark is only 9 years old, she
submitted her name for the FOL Adult Valentine Basket. Her mother, Oanh Nguyer, will receive the
coffee maker and coffee, and the other goodies will be shared. Sabrina is in the third grade at Ozark
Elementary. She enjoys drawing and
shopping. When she comes to the library,
she enjoys using the die-cut machine to cut out pictures and check out chapter
books. Her favorite series of books is
The Cupcake Diaries.
FOL is a nonprofit volunteer organization that provides
additional funding to the library primarily through two book sales per
year. Funds are used to support the
library’s summer reading program, other events, and enhancements needed by the
library. Contact the library at (417)
